A small department. Unreasonably strange problems.

Today’s assignment is simple: get water to a very thirsty pigeon. Tap a pipe beside the empty space to slide it into the gap. Pipes do not rotate. Connect the blue tap to the yellow glass, and release the water to test your route. A leak shows where the connection needs fixing. You do not need to use every pipe.

A small daily fix

Everyone gets the same daily arrangement, changing at midnight UTC. There is no timer or limit on attempts. If you are new to pipe puzzles, start with the smaller 3 by 3 warm-up. Hints, undo and a reset button are there when you need them.

Three departments. Equally questionable management.

In Pipe Fix, slide pipes into the gap to get water to the pigeon. In Equation Repair, swap the numbers until every row and column is correct. In The Shredder Incident, rearrange strips of a shredded memo until all four lines read correctly. All three have a smaller warm-up, undo and hints.

Complete all three daily puzzles to earn the department's "Barely Competent" stamp. It is saved in this browser, has no monetary value, and will not improve your chances of promotion. Word puzzles rotate through a curated memo collection with a daily strip shuffle; familiar memos will return. Maths and pipe boards are generated from the date. The daily reset is midnight UTC.

This is fiction, not a repair service

The Department, its incidents, and its solutions are fictional. Nothing in the game is real appliance, electrical, vehicle, or safety advice. For a real fault, consult the manufacturer or a qualified professional.

FixThisError previously hosted a troubleshooting library. That library has been retired; this game is a new, unrelated experience, not a replacement source of repair guidance.
