Commercially useful guides to improve first
- A1 - The dishwasher did not receive water within the expected time. A1 and A10 both indicate a water supply problem. Unlike F6, A codes are user-addressable — check the supply before calling a technician.
- A3 - The dishwasher cannot drain properly. A3 and A20 both indicate a drain obstruction. These are user-addressable — check the hose and filter before calling a technician.
- A6 - The spray arm has come loose or detached during the wash cycle, or water pressure is too low to rotate it correctly. The spray arm must be properly seated to wash dishes effectively.
- A7 - The dishwasher has detected excessive foam (suds) and has triggered an automatic recovery cycle to reduce it. This is caused by incorrect detergent use and is user-addressable.
