LG Washing Machine Error SUD: Excessive Suds Detected

1. SAFETY: No immediate electrical hazard — SUD is a self-resolving condition in most cases.
2. Do not add more detergent, fabric softener, or any other product.
3. Allow the washer to complete its automatic de-sudsing sequence — the machine will pause, wait for suds to settle, then run additional rinse cycles. This can take 30–60 extra minutes.
4. Once the cycle completes, remove the laundry.
5. Run one empty hot water rinse cycle with no detergent to clear residual suds from the drum and pump.
6. On the next wash, use only HE-labeled detergent at the amount shown on the package — or less.
